How Do Lamborghini Performance Chips Work?
Rocket Chip performance chips connect through the vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic port and communicate with the engine-management system.
Rocket Chip uses a vehicle-specific programmed fuel map designed to adjust fuel-mixture and timing-related parameters to improve throttle response and overall engine performance. (FAQ page).  The chip remains plugged in while in use and can be removed with the engine off if needed.

Lamborghini Performance Chip Installation
Rocket Chip performance chips are designed for plug-in installation through the vehicle’s OBD-II diagnostic port.
Installation generally involves starting the vehicle, locating the OBD-II port, plugging in the Rocket Chip, and driving normally. No wire cutting or specialized mechanical tools are required. Rocket Chip states that full performance benefits may become noticeable after approximately 50–150 miles of driving.
